It is an academic piece of writing he wants to incorporate into a course he teaches at York University (which happens to be where I went to University). Indigenous relocation in Canada in the 1950's. I have cousins that are of Native origin and have been in areas were the Natives have been forced to live in some pretty unpleasant situations, so I was curious.
I wondered what contribution I could make, but with his insistence and an exchange agreed upon...I said I'd give it a quick look and decide if I would do the more in-depth read.
Well, an hour ago I finished. Five hours this morning in a last push - I am excited to say I enjoyed it. I didn't get done what was on my list to accomplish for my book, but I feel I have contributed to the writing world in another way.
Now the ball is back in his court. He is under my coaching umbrella and we have an agreement that the book will be finished Nov. 30, 2013. He has done so much work, oh my gosh. I could never write an academic book like that with all the 'credits' and all - yuk. (Never say never...it is too much like a challenge and sometimes I take on things like that simply to prove I can do it).
I am hoping for two books done by "Transformation Starts with A Story" participants by that date!!! Will you be next. I love this work!
