Last night I received a long list of things to do to promote UTD, and one was to spend more time here on my blog. I must say, that was my intent when I began. I make no excuses and can only say, "I will do better in the future."
Last week I spoke at an event my friend, and child advocate, Charmaine Loverin held. She is always trying to create awareness about educating children: http://empoweringvoicesawarenessmonth.org/live-petition/. It was a small group on a long weekend - but all the right people showed up. The more I talk and the more I listen, the more I learn - I love to learn!
The week before I was in Vancouver studying with Satyen Raja and a group of peers. Satyen is one of my original martial arts teachers and now my teacher in Harmony Integration. I interviewed him for UTD and developed a deep appreciation for the Harmony Integration process work. I am now a coach look forward to another two trips to the west coast in the next two months to study. The most significant aspect of this work, to me, is a process called Trauma Integration. The process removes a charge attached to a trauma. It 'blows' my mind every time I perform it, or see it being done. More on that another time.
As I continue with marketing Unlock The Door I can confirm what they say is true: writing the book is the easiest part of having a successful book. I am determined to spread the word about UTD and the courageous and wise 39 people within.
